Real VDR / Evidence Upload
Original files upload directly to a private S3 bucket; the backend calculates SHA-256 by streaming each stored object.
Beta limit: 5 GB per file. Keep original VDR evidence unchanged. Furuno blocks are decoded automatically; JRC files beginning with VoyageDtRec are identified as JRC proprietary DAT. GPS/COG/SOG/heading are attached to decoded transcript events; duplicate blocks are retained as evidence but excluded from analysis.

Transcript / Translation Record
Automated audio transcription is synchronized to UTC/navigation. Raw transcript evidence is preserved internally; the investigation view hides isolated filler/noise expressions while keeping meaningful sentences.

Full Text Timeline
Readable decoded VDR text: own-ship navigation, bridge/VHF audio transcript and English translation in chronological order. AIS target data is intentionally excluded from this view.
This is a decoded investigation view. Original S3 evidence and SHA-256 checksums remain the authoritative source records.
Cross-Evidence Analysis
Compares transcribed bridge/VHF/wing audio, Master’s Standing Orders and other reviewed documents, own-ship VDR data and AIS internally to identify inconsistencies or possible deviations for inspector verification.
AIS is analysed in the background only; there is no separate AIS reconstruction display and AIS target lines are not shown in the Full Text Timeline. A missing transcript phrase or OCR match is never treated as proof that an action did not occur.
SIRE 2.0 Bridge Document Review
Upload handwritten/scanned PDF or image documents, extract text, screen against Master's Standing/Daily Orders expectations, and send every possible deviation to the inspector for verification.
Machine screening is based on OCIMF SIRE 2.0 bridge-document expectations (including Q4.2.3). It does not issue an official SIRE pass/fail. Low-confidence handwriting and vessel/company-specific requirements must be reviewed by the inspector.
